This inn is housed inside of an 1839 farmhouse and is believed to be haunted by the owner's mother, who passed away inside the building. She is said to wander around the place at night and the scent of her perfume has been detected. The rocking chair on the porch moves on its own and reports say that in the 1980's, the attic door wouldn't stay closed, so they had to wedge a knife in it to keep it shut. On Monday mornings, the knife would be found inside the attic door.
