Read the troubled history of Elizabeth Graeme Fergusson and you’ll understand the basis for a restless spirit. Courted and betrayed by Ben Franklin’s son…..Secretly marrying a poor Scottish immigrant and upon the moment of informing her father of the marriage, witnesses him drop dead from the upstairs window. Although best friends with noted Patriots and signers of the Declaration of Independence her husband declares allegiance to England and works with them during the occupation of Philadelphia - only to leave her upon England’s departure - never to see her again and having her property confiscated as the home of a traitor. The grounds were twice occupied by colonial troop and she knew Washington - delivering a treasonous message advising surrender for her husband. Only thru the influence of prominent members of the Revolution was she able to clear her name and retain her belovedKeith House. Many sightings of “ghostly images” were reported by both military and private pilots landing at the Willow Grove Naval Air station adjacent to the property. Reports of an image of a woman resembling Elizabeth were frequent - often with her and another sitting on a limb of a large tree behind the house, overlooking the pond.

The Keith House is just an old colonial home built in the 1700's with various that lived in it from time to time & that's it. Reading the history of the home, there is no mentioning of it being haunted at all. Just a nice quiet home & nothing more. I have been there at night in the 1970's, been there during the day, walked through the entire home & nothing at all, nothing strange or weird as I said just a very nice colonial home built in the 1700's.
