It is said that an elderly woman who died in her home on Pine Street continues to haunt the streets of Society Hill. Accounts include seeing her look out her home window as well as seeing her yelling and swiping her cane at young people. Others claim to have heard screams and groaning coming from the house. The home remained vacant for many years as result of the haunting claims.
