What's new at The Haunt PA (in Schaefferstown) for 2022? Do you have any new rides, attractions, or special features that Haunt Seekers should know about?

We will be having 3 areas for one price. We do not want to give away to much information but hopefully you know your songs because you will be dealing with a few cards at some point. The layout is completely different from 2021, new buildings and mazes, more involvement and interaction with our actors.

What are you most excited about for the 2022 Halloween Season?

We are excited for the new layout and interaction that will be involved for the customers, having them become a part of THE HAUNT PA!

What differentiates The Haunt PA (in Schaefferstown) from other local haunts in Pennsylvania?

We are a good old fashioned Haunt, we have limited animatronics and design each of our areas. We are all volunteers, utilize local high school and college students from as far as New Jersey. Every year is different from the last, most props, masks and costumes are made by our volunteers!

How long has The Haunt PA (in Schaefferstown) been in business? Can you tell us a bit more about The Haunt PA (in Schaefferstown)'s history?

We are at this location, as THE HAUNT PA, since 2021. The Haunt PA lies on the old Schaefferstown Carnival Grounds, where the first carnival/festival was held in 1919. Customers will explore room after room, building after building of darkness, scenes and unexpected happenings.

What's your favorite experience since opening The Haunt PA (in Schaefferstown)?

The excitement and positive comments the customers give us. The compliments on our actors, the price and overall experience they get after they have gone through.

How long is a typical haunt experience at The Haunt PA (in Schaefferstown) from start to finish?

45 minutes

On a scale from 1 to 10, how scary would you say The Haunt PA (in Schaefferstown) is? Why?

10, we use real actors and the natural setting of the location.

Does The Haunt PA (in Schaefferstown)'s property have any real haunted history? Do you have a spooky encounter you'd like to share?

Yes, we have stories but you will need to come through to find out some of them.

What inspired you to open up a haunted attraction? What's your favorite part of the business?

We are a non-profit group that has become a family in the 27 years we have been involved in the Haunted attraction industry. The best part is the family we have become through this.

How has new technology (i.e. animatronics, special props, etc) helped you to enhance The Haunt PA (in Schaefferstown)?

The technology has helped, we do use a lot of battery operated lighting and remotes, which is safer then electric.

Can The Haunt PA (in Schaefferstown) accommodate large groups? How many people can experience The Haunt PA (in Schaefferstown) together as a group?

We keep the group size to 6 or less if possible, but can accommodate larger groups if necessary. The smaller the group the better the experience though.

Does The Haunt PA (in Schaefferstown) offer any special deals, discounts, or coupons?

We offer group discounts, but must book in advance. We offer return discounts and special promotion nights throughout the season.

Anything else you'd like to let us know about The Haunt PA (in Schaefferstown)?

We would love people to come out and give us a try, we may not be as large and have all the animatronics of the other larger area haunts, but we can scare just like the rest of them.
